Walking Together as part of the one body of Christ. Fellow Christian communities supporting, uplifting & promoting one another to share resources, events & content. No one group can do it all and do it all well. We are called to walk together as the Body of Christ for His Kingdom & Glory.
'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. '
1 Peter 4:10-11
1 Peter 4:10-11
- Believe, stand firm in, and share the gospel of Jesus' life, death and resurrection
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
- In all you do keep your language and attitude clean, and be honoring and glorifying unto God
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29
- Be a Christ-like example throughout our communities & hold fellow leaders accountable
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, the Creator of all things and without fault.
(Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Isaiah 44:6, Matthew 5:48, Psalm 18:10)
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, fully man and fully God. His life reflected His Father in all things and was without sin. He died as a perfect sacrifice, resurrected from the grave, ascended back into Heaven, and will one day return to the Earth. We believe that by his incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. It is because of Jesus that we may be free from the bondage of sin. Only through Jesus Christ can we come to the Father and have eternal life.
(John 3:16, Romans 5:8-10, Colossians 1:13-23, John 1:14-16, 1 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2: 21-25, Matthew 24:30; 44)
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. Through the Spirit, we become aware of our need for Jesus Christ and to repent. From the moment of salvation, the Spirit lives and dwells in us. He guides, equips, and empowers believers to Christ-like living.
(Acts 1:8, Romans 5:5, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, Galatians 5:16-15, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is divinely-inspired and its message is authoritative and without fault in its original form. It is to be believed in its teachings, followed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.
(1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Matthew 5:17-19, Psalm 19:7-11)
We believe men and women, equally made in the image of God, enjoy equal access to God by faith in Jesus Christ. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2)
We believe salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self- improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5)
